Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the full name given to her parents. Lennox was a flute, piano as well as harpsichord at Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 70s. Lennox survived off the stipend of a student working part-time in order to supplement her earnings. Lennox decided to change her career path after she became dissatisfied by her inexperience in contrast to other Royal Academy students. Lennox was a flute player in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. She quit the group before they appeared as a guest on I.T.V's Talent show New Faces. The singer was the primary voice for The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until the year 1980. As part of this group, she was met by Dave Stewart. Together they would form The Eurythmics pop duo. Lennox then went on to release her first solo album Diva. This came out in 1992. Both commercially as well as critically, it was an enormous hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album debuted in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top jazz, blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera contains four improvised keyboard tracks. The E.P. The E.P. is her first solo album, and is a sequel to an art installation she made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called Now I Let You Go... Then, she became a part of the band with fellow musician Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox made her debut as a solo artist in 1992 when she released the album of Diva, which featured several hit tracks like Why and walking on Broken Glass. Medusa is her album of studio work from 1995. The album features covers of some songs, including The No MoreI Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo studio albums and the compilation album have a lot of tracks.
